Warner Bros Pictures Canada has an exciting opportunity within the Publicity and Promotions Department for the summer position as the “Community Events Cruiser Coordinator”.

Reporting to the Director of Publicity and Promotions - the Community Events Cruiser Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating & attending events with the Warner Bros. Pictures Tahoe vehicle. The successful candidate will have a love for movies, people, be outgoing, energetic & possess amazing organizational skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Research and coordinate the event itinerary for each week
  • Attend weekly scheduled events and interact with people
  • Document all events attended as well as contact information
  • Provide photos from each event (with the use of the WB digital camera)
  • Sample client product/movie items at events when necessary
  • Maintain the Tahoe cruiser (fuel, clean etc)

Essential Skills and Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid Ontario's Driver’s License
  • Must have a “clean” driving record – no infractions or convictions for at least 5 years
  • Previous PR / Event organization and street level promotions experience
  • Ability to problem solve and deal with adversity
  • Possesses the maturity to work without supervision in an independent setting
  • Energetic and outgoing personality
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Knowledge of movie-going audience
  • Must have a flexible schedule - Weeknight and weekend work required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient in MS word, Excel & Explorer
  • Ability to multi-task with keen attention to detail
  • Marketing education/experience preferred but not required
